  What is provided?

 

  • Two nights camping (Friday & Saturday)

  • Meals: All You Can Eat meals beginning with Friday dinner and ending with Sunday breakfast.

  • Nutrition from Chimpanzee Nutrition 

  • The route (a .GPX track to follow)

  • Komoot complete map package download for free (€30 value)

  • Saturday bonfire and "Medieval party"

  • Woven roundel

  • Some beer

  • One riding day - Saturday

 

 

What to bring?

 

  • A bike suitable for the mixed-surface road & gravel event

  • Helmet (mandatory)

  • GPS devise. You will need it to follow the route

  • Powerbank or additional battery backup

  • Spoon, fork, bowl (This is very important. We will not provide plastic utensils.)

  • All necessary items to be self-sufficient on the route. Stuff like tools & spares, a pump, tubes, patches, chain link, etc. This is a self-supported ride!

  • Lights with plenty of juice. Sunset is 7:20 PM, eleven hours later.

  • Tent and sleeping bag, sleeping mat

  • Personal items

  • 160/120/80km mix terrain ride

  • 160km; 2650m up, 2650m down; highest point 710m; lowest 120m; 2x ferry crossing.

If you are looking for a challenge look no further. 307km long Big Bash will test your physical and psychical strength all right.

The time to beat is

15:36 Total Time, 14:33 Riding Time.

Don't feel like racing? No worries. Just pack your tent and enjoy the beautiful scenery at your own pace.

Thursday, September 9

 

  • Arrival. You will set your tent up, register and kickback. Your tent will be waiting for you when you come back, sometime on Saturday.

  • 6 - 10 PM All You Can Eat Dinner with the gang

 

Friday, September 10

 

  • 7:00 AM Breakfast

  • 8:00 AM Start - This will be an official start of the Brevet Ride so if you want some hugs and words of encouragement don't be late. If you are not in a hurry and you are sure you can finish the ride before the Party Saturday Night, take your time and roll out on your own time. This is your ride so enjoy it!

 

Saturday, September 11

  • There will be food waiting on top of a brutal climb up Decinsky Sneznik. That is KM250. Or if you miss that, there will be snack on KM277. If you decide to race through the night you will miss these refreshment points. 

  • We will be waiting for you with open arms and with a cold beer in hand. You'll get some rest so you can party later in the evening. We will be ready to hear your stories.

  • 6 - 10 PM All You Can Eat Dinner

  • 9 PM Party Time!
